The Ending of Something Good

Went with the Missions Reality team, the second years from New York.
In Toronto up in the CN Tower.
Amazing view of the city!

Then we walked around in China town sharing the Gospel.

Had a car wash day to raise money to send kids to summer camp!
Had a great response! God blessed our day with many cars to wash, sunshine, and wind!

Morgan and I participated in the Fun-D Run!
An event to raise money for camper scholarships, to send kids to camp!
We signed up to do the 5k walk, ended up doing the 10k!
Morgan was such a great team mate and encouragement!

9 more k to go!

We did it!

Then in the afternoon we went to Inglis Falls,
(I guess I didn't think I got enough hiking in!)

.Mushrooms.

I found snow!
Had to get my feet in it!

The last Sunday of the last semester...
\\Ministry Showcase\\

so impressed with Testify, I feel like a proud momma watching them perform!
They have been the team that I have been in charge with along with Mrs. Evison- who perfected their singing skills!
I called and booked them outings in Churches and in Nursing Homes.

They have a been challenged in many hard ways, strengthened by one another, and ministered to the body of Christ.

Every ministry team presented a skit, song, or a testimony.
Super encouraging to see and hear about the growth in each students life, each one cannot the fact that they have experienced change.

Please pray for the students as they finish the last couple days of studies and exams.

Please pray for them as they go on break that they will continue to study God's Word.

Please pray for me as I go on to New York from here, as I minister to young ladies and serve the Ranch as being the Housekeeping Coordinator.

Spring break >> HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS

Welcome home....

I left Canada with the multiple feet of snow, I knew that I would be going home to a place of bare ground.
The day that I arrived home it snowed! God sure knows me well = )
This was also the day that while I am admiring just how gorgeously beautiful God's confetti is, mom slipped and fell- hurting her ankle pretty bad.
The following day I was sick and honestly, God works everything perfectly.
Mom and I were able to hang out lots more!
If she wouldn't have hurt her ankle she would have had all her time soaked up at the Greenhouses taking care of flowers.
Not at all a bad thing to take care of flowers, and we could've done it together, but having the time to simply hang out and chill was a absolute blessing-!

Roses...

mom made me a beautiful bouquet of roses with diamonds, I felt like it was my wedding bouquet and that I should be walking down an aisle...

"How far a simple thought can go when put into action."

Nieces
hanging out with my dolls for the day.
What a blessing children are, and what a privilege for me to get to love on them!
I never tire of hearing their chatter, giggles, coos, rambling talk...

Hair Cut...
To celebrate the first day of spring!

Indy...
Went with friends to WinterJam in Indiana, a concert that's ten bucks to hear ten artist! DEAL!!
Walking back to our spot in line with, I looked up to see a face that I recognized!
Blew my mind! All the way over here in Indy and I see someone that went to first year at the Bible Institute while I was in my second year.

Boarder...
Stopped in at some of my friend's house and stayed the night.
I met them for the first time at the last weekend of Recharge!
They are literally right on my way home!
What a blessing to know friends across the world!

Galatians 5:22-26
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Students Exploring Missions Conference

___________________________________________________________________________________________________
The last weekend of March here at Word of Life Bible Institute, we had what we call SEM- Students Exploring Missions-->

We had 17 missionaries come on property share their testimonies- from when they received Christ, when they headed out into the field, to where they are now.

Sharing the struggles and trials that each one went through was one thing that really impacted me, doing what GOD calls us to do is never easy! But rewarding.

Another thing, it's more personal- and something that needs to start today! Personal alone time with GOD and His Word. If you don't have that today, how do you think you will when you are in another country? Married? You have that job? You have that time...?

Having your own personal alone time with GOD allows you to be that example of Christ to those around you. People are watching.

The students that signed up was involved in different sessions,
like a mock missionary board, question and answer, choosing a missionary, single on the fields..
Not all the students signed up to be part of this weekend, but those that did are super interested in seeking to do work for God in missions.
Please pray for the students...

February's (belated) Support Update :::: God is always good

THANK YOU!
Psalm 100:5
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting;
and his truth endureth to all generations.

May His Word never stop at our feet, or by our feet not going...
but let our feet deliver the Good News to the World.

God bless you for your unrelenting service to my ministry,

Lauren Sink
